These books all come from my basement workshop in Portland, Oregon. I print, fold, sew, assemble, and cover them all. I prefer to work with linen or paper covers rather than leather. This is mostly a choice to be more of a binder than a leather working expert–plus I really love linen. I focus on natural materials and eliminating plastic wherever possible. Small examples of this include using paper shipping tape instead of plastic and kraft paper and cardboard instead of bubble wrap.
I’m not very good with social media, but you’re welcome to follow me on Instagram or Pinterest, where I show some of the experimental things I do, including some photography, street art, and other random creations.
